The INITIATORS
Die Idee entstand in einer lauen Sommernacht im Jahr 2018, während wir unserer Lieblingsmusik lauschten und ein paar Gläser ausgezeichneten Rotweins tranken. Sowohl meine Frau als auch ich hatten neben unserer Liebe zum Metal immer eine Vorliebe für ein Musikgenre, das sich Anfang der siebziger Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts etablierte, den sogenannten Austropop, eine Bewegung von Singer-Songwritern, die begann, in unserem ganz eigenen österreichischen Dialekt zu singen, anstatt in klassischem Deutsch. Die Musik wurde von den großen Songwritern dieser Zeit inspiriert, aber auch mit typisch österreichischen Folk-Elementen vermischt. Der Song, den wir für dieses Projekt ausgewählt haben, war einer der Lieblingssongs meiner Frau, als sie jung war, und sie fragte sich, warum bis dahin niemand ein Cover dieses Songs aufgenommen hatte.
Also haben wir beschlossen, es selbst zu machen.
Wir sind beide seit unseren Teenagerjahren leidenschaftliche Metal-Anhänger und ich wage zu sagen, dass unser Metal-Geschmack sehr breit gefächert ist. Meine Frau führt die Metal´s Rockbar seit 2013 und seit wir uns 2017 zusammengeschlossen haben, haben wir uns ständig bemüht, unser Geschäft zu verbessern sowie auch der lokalen Szene ein Zuhause zu bereiten, einen Treffpunkt für Interessierte an dieser Art von Musik. Aus diesem Grund wollten wir auch lokale Amateurmusiker einbeziehen, ihnen eine Plattform geben, die sie ihr Eigen nennen können, eine erste Erfahrung, wie all die verschiedenen Etappen einer kleinen Produktion zusammenkommen.
The idea was born on a warm summer night in 2018, while listening to our favourite music and having a bunch of glasses of excellent red vine. Both my wife and me, beside our love for metal, we always had a favour for a musical genre that established itself in the beginning of the seventies of the last century, the so-called Austropop, which was a movement of singer-songwriters who started to sing in our very own Austrian dialect instead of using classical German. The great songwriters of that era inspired the music, but the artists also tried to implement typical Austrian folk elements. The song we chose for this project was one of my wives’ favourite tracks when she was young, and she was wondering why nobody had bone a cover of that song until then.
So, we produced the idea of doing it on our own.
We both have been enthusiastic metal followers since our teen years, and I dare to say that our taste in metal is very widespread. My wife has been running the Metal´s Rockbar since 2013 and ever since we joined forces in 2017, we have constantly tried to improve our business as well as also to prepare a home for the local scene, a meeting place for people interested in this kind of music. This was also the reason we wanted to involve local amateur musicians, to give them a platform, something they can call their own, a first experience of how all the various stages of a small production come together.
The PROJECT
Es ist eine lange Geschichte, die Art und Weise, wie das alles zusammengekommen ist. Nun, wie bereits erwähnt, war die Idee, eine Coverversion eines populären österreichischen Liedes aus unserer Jugend zu produzieren. Zu Beginn fragte ich meinen lieben Freund und musikalischen Partner in Crime, Jaroslav Lukac, einen Gitarristen und Komponisten/Produzenten aus der Slowakei, ob er uns bei der Erstellung einer ersten Basisversion des Songs helfen würde. Nachdem dies in kurzer Zeit erledigt war, begannen meine Frau und ich über eine mögliche Besetzung des Gesangs nachzudenken. Wir wollten einige der besten Sänger unserer Karaoke-Wettbewerbe sowie einige erfahrene lokale Musiker aus unserer Gegend einbeziehen.
In der Zwischenzeit erinnerte ich mich an einen Song, von dem ich mich in den Achtzigern sehr inspiriert fühlte, den Track „We´re Stars“ von Ronnie James Dio, der einige der erfolgreichsten Musiker verschiedener Bands dieser Zeit vorstellte. Ich beschloss, die Idee des langen instrumentalen Mittelteils zu übernehmen und etwas Ähnliches in unsere Demoversion aufzunehmen, die schließlich acht Gitarristen umfasste, sowohl lokale als auch internationale Saitenartisten.
Ich habe viele Musiker angesprochen, hauptsächlich Leute, die ich während der verschiedenen Tourneen kennengelernt habe, die ich in den letzten 25 Jahren als Mitglied von Darkside und Demolition gemacht habe, und ich freue mich wirklich, sagen zu können, dass viele von ihnen zugestimmt haben, einen Beitrag zu leisten, ihren Anteil mit ihrem phänomenalen Talent beizutragen, dieser Produktion einen großen Mehrwert zu verleihen.
Ausgehend von einer Laufzeit von ca. 4 Minuten des Originalsongs landeten wir bei der finalen Extended-Version mit weit über 10 Minuten. Wir haben eine dritte Strophe sowie einige zusätzliche Refrains am Ende des Songs hinzugefügt. Außerdem wurde ein kleines Schlagzeugsolo hinzugefügt, um unseren großartigen Freund hinter den Fellen etwas mehr zu featuren.
Zusammenfassend scheint es, dass wir unser Ziel erreicht haben, einem großartigen österreichischen Lied sowie den verstorbenen Helden des Musikgenres, das wir alle die meiste Zeit unseres Lebens geliebt und verfolgt haben, Tribut zu zollen. Es soll ein bescheidenes Statement unserer Hingabe an die Freundschaft sein, die uns verbindet, und an die Art von Musik, die wir alle lieben.
You may wonder how all this came together. Well, as explained earlier, the idea was to produce a cover version of a popular Austrian song from our youth. Subsequently I asked my dear friend and musical partner in crime, Jaroslav Lukac, a guitarist, and composer/producer from Slovakia, if he would help us out by building a first basic version of the song. After this had been done in a brief period, my wife and me started to think about a line-up for the vocals. We wanted to involve some of the best singers from our karaoke contests as well as some experienced local musicians from our area.
In the meantime, I remembered a song I felt very inspired by back in the eighties, the track “We´re Stars” by Ronnie James Dio, which featured some of the most successful musicians from various bands at that time. Thus, I decided to borrow the idea of the long instrumental middle section and include something similar into our demo version, which finally ended up featuring eight guitarists, both local and international axemen.
Hence, I wrote to and asked a lot of musicians, mostly all of them people I got to know throughout the various tours I did as a member of Darkside and Demolition over the past 25 years and I am happy to say that a lot of them agreed to contribute their share of the phenomenal talent to add immense value to this production.
Starting with a running time of 4 minutes of the original song we ended up with the final extended version clocking in at well over 10 minutes. We added a third verse as well as a couple of additional choruses at the end of the song. Also, a small drum solo to feature our great friend behind the skins a bit more was added.
The lyrics were a further point of reference we had to commit to. Whereas the original lyrics speak of a different kind of art, we wanted to pay tribute to some of the most talented stars of metal, who left us too soon. Remember the fallen!
To sum it up, it seems we have achieved our goal to pay tribute to a great Austrian song as well as to the late heroes of the musical genre we all have been loving and pursuing most time of our lives. It shall stand as a humble statement of our dedication to the friendship that binds us and to the kind of music, we all love.

The PLACE
Die Metal´s Rockbar ist eine einmalige Attraktion in der Wiener Neustädter Innenstadt. Wie der Name bereits preisgibt, liegt der Schwerpunkt des musikalischen Rahmens bei allen Spielarten des Rock und Metal. Das Ambiente wird bestimmt durch die Rock und Metal-affine Dekoration, gerade Linienführung beim Mobiliar und geschickt eingesetzte Lichteffekte, die den typischen Barcharakter hervorheben. Eine große Vidi-wall sowie Monitore runden das Audioerlebnis durch eingespielte Videos ab. Ein DJ sorgt dafür, dass auch die Musikwünsche der Kunden nicht zu kurz kommen, ein vielfältiges Angebot aus allen Bereichen des Rock und Metal steht zur Auswahl.
Überall im Lokal findet man von den diversen Künstlern unterschriebene und mit Widmungen versehene Originalfotos, Drumsticks, Gitarren und zahlreiche weitere Memorabilia, ausgestellt in einer Vitrine.
Die Metal´s Rockbar setzt immer wieder Schwerpunkte durch saisonale Events, aber auch spezielle Veranstaltungen in Kooperation mit Festivals und Künstlern. CD Präsentationen sind ebenso Bestandteil des Programms wie Ausstellungen oder sogar Live-Events. Die Bar ist auch ein beliebter Treffpunkt von Musikern der regionalen Szene. Immer wieder beherbergt die Metal´s Rockbar auch Aftershow Parties von diversen Veranstaltungen. Der Donnerstag ist bei uns für den Chillout-Tag reserviert, ruhigere Klänge bestimmen an diesem Tag die Playlist.
Die gastronomischen Schwerpunkte liegen bei Cocktails, einem ausgewogenen Bier und Wein Mix sowie diversen hochprotzentigen Getränken a la Carte. Für den schnellen Hunger bereitet das Team der Metal´s Rockbar gerne Snacks für die Gäste zu.
The Metal's Rockbar is a unique attraction in downtown Wiener Neustadt. As the name suggests, the focus of the musical framework is on all varieties of rock and metal. The ambience is determined by the rock and metal-related decoration, straight lines in the furniture and cleverly used lighting effects that emphasize the typical bar character. A large video wall and monitors round off the audio experience with imported videos. A DJ ensures that the customers' music wishes are equally fulfilled, a wide range of options from all areas of rock and metal is available.
Everywhere in the restaurant you can find original photos, drumsticks, guitars, and numerous other memorabilia, signed, and dedicated by the various artists, on display in a glass showcase.
The Metal's Rockbar always focuses on seasonal events, but also extraordinary events in cooperation with festivals and artists. CD presentations are just as much a part of the program as exhibitions or even live events. The bar is also a popular meeting place for musicians from the regional scene. Again, and again, the Metal's Rockbar hosts after show parties from various events. We reserve Thursday for the chill-out day, while quieter sounds determine the playlist on this day.
The gastronomic focus is on cocktails, a balanced beer and wine mix as well as various high-boasting drinks a la carte. The Metal's Rockbar team will be happy to prepare snacks for the guests for those who get hungry quickly.

Christian B
...sein Name ist Christian B. Er steht auf Datenschutz, deshalb nennt man ihn einfach Chris. Er ist 37 Jahre, aber im Geiste um die Zwanzig. Er mag vieles nicht, wie zum Beispiel über seine Person sprechen zu müssen. Die Liebe zur Musik wurde ihm von seinen Eltern in die Wiege gelegt. Im Grunde wuchs er im speziellen mit Pink Floyd und Led Zeppelin auf. Sie leisteten die Vorarbeit, es war also nur eine Frage der Zeit; bis er sich selbst auf musikalische Entdeckungsreise begab. Die beste Zeit seines Lebens! Das Gitarrensolo des In Flames Songs „Zombie Inc.“ besiegelte seine Liebe zum metal und ließ ihn selbst zur Gitarre greifen, was ihn letzten Endes auch zur Metal’s Rockbar und den dort ansässigen Wahnsinnigen aber durch und durch herzlichen Mitmenschen führte! Durch gute Menschen, gute Laune und fragwürdige Karaoke Abenden wurden Freundschaften geschlossen, die ihn schlussendlich zu der Beteiligung an dieser speziellen Nummer brachten. Das er auch noch halbwegs gut singen kann, wurde dann im Laufe der Sessions gemeinsam entdeckt.
... his name is Christian B. He likes data protection, so let us just call him Chris. He is 37 years old, but around twenty in spirit. He does not easily burn for many things, like having to talk about himself. He was born with a love for music from his parents. He grew up with Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin in particular. They did the groundwork, so it was only a matter of time; until he embarked on a musical journey of discovery himself. The best time of his life! The guitar solo of In Flames' song "Zombie Inc." sealed his love for metal and made him pick up the guitar himself, which also led him to Metal’s rock bar and the madmen who lived there, but through and through hearty fellow men! Friendships developed through good people, good humor, and questionable karaoke evenings, which led him to participate in this project. That he can also sing well was discovered together during the sessions.
Markus Gletthofer
Er ist fast 40 und die Liebe zur Musik war schon immer da. Im Alter von 10 Jahren stieß er auf die Musik von Nirvana und ist seitdem ein Metal-Fan. Seine enge Beziehung zur Musik drückt sich insofern aus, dass er die einzelnen Töne spürt und gleichzeitig Gitarre und Schlagzeug (bei manchen Songs sogar Bass) spielen möchte. Er singt seit seiner Kindheit und liebt es, wenn die Leute ihn hören und sehen können. Ein besonderes Gefühl stellt sich bei ihm ein, wenn ihm jemand sagt, dass er gut singen kann, vor allem wenn es Tage oder sogar Monate später ist (das bedeutet, dass man sich an ihn erinnert - und das freut ihn natürlich besonders! 2019 gewann er die Karaoke-Serie im Metal's Rockbar und so wurde er für dieses Projekt ausgewählt.
He is forty and the love for music has always been there. He came across the music of Nirvana at the age of ten and has been a metal fan ever since. His close relationship with music can easily be explained by the fact, that he feels the individual notes and wants to play guitar and drums (even bass on some songs) at the same time. He has been singing since childhood and loves when people can hear and see him. He has a special feeling when someone tells him that he can sing well, especially if it is days or even months later (that means that his performance is well remembered - and of course he is particularly pleased! 2019 won he did the karaoke series at Metal's Rockbar and so he has been invited to take part in this project.
Karoline Wallner
Sie war die erste Gewinnerin unserer Karaoke- Wettbewerbe in der Metal´s Rockbar. Nach diesem Anfangserfolg folgten bald einige Kooperationen, bis schließlich die Band Breaking Rank auf sie aufmerksam wurde, bei der sie sich mittlerweile fest ins Bandgeschehen integriert hat.
She was the first winner of our karaoke competitions at Metal's Rockbar. After this initial success, several collaborations soon followed, until finally the band Breaking Rank became aware of her, where she has now become firmly integrated into the band's life.

Siegfried Bauer
geboren. 30.12.1964 in Wr. Neustadt (Österr.) Schon in jungen Jahren fasziniert von den Beatles, Rolling Stones und Elvis fand er selbst den Weg zur Musik. Mit 17 gründete er meine erste Band. (Mashroom) Nach Auftritten bei diversen Bandwettbewerben und lokalen Konzerten stieg er 1986 bei Zodiak (Heavy Rock) ein. Nach etlichen Live Gigs und zwei CDs (Zodiak & Zodiak live) freut er sich noch immer live auf der Bühne zu stehen!
Born on December 30, 1964, in Wr. Neustadt (Austria) Fascinated by the Beatles, Rolling Stones and Elvis at an early age, he himself found his way to music. When he was seventeen, he founded my first band. (Mashroom) After appearing at various band competitions and local concerts, he joined Zodiak (Heavy Rock) in 1986. Franz Bauer
Geprägt von KISS und Judas Priest sowie der lebendigen Musikszene seiner Heimatstadt in den frühen 80ern wuchs recht früh der Wunsch in ihm, selbst Musik zu machen. Die Gitarre sollte es sein und da der Weg über die Blockflöte definitiv für ihn nicht in Frage kam, hat der „Bua“ Privatunterricht bekommen. Seine erste Band gründete er mit 8 oder 9 mit seinen 2 besten Schulfreunden. Er besaß eine Konzertgitarre Marke Höfner, der zweite 1 Paar Drumsticks, der dritte war ambitioniert. Name dieser erfolgversprechenden Band „Green Archer“…sie hätten Comiczeichner werden sollen.
Nach diversen Weihnachtskonzerten mit der „Hölzernen“ bewaffnet spielte er seinen ersten Stromunterstützten Gig mit 13 in der Schulaula als Bassist der Schulband. Little Richards „Tutti Frutti“ und der Megareisser der Bellamy Brothers „More of You“ wurde in die tobende Menge geballert.
Seine angeblich erste Heavy Metal Band gründete er mit 16. Es war dann doch eher im Punk verortet. Bis Mitte der 90er diente er in diversen lokalen Bands, die jedoch nie aus dem Demo Status herauskamen. Danach folgte eine mehrjährige Bandpause da es für ihn, mittlerweile zum reinen Sänger geworden, stilistisch keine passenden Mitstreiter gab. Anfang der 2000er gründete er „Pulling Weeds“ welche sich als Band stark an der aufkommenden Skandinavischen RnR Welle rund um die Hellacopters & Backyard Babies orientieren sollte.
2005 wurde aus dieser Band SUCKCEED mit welcher er 3 Alben (SUCKCEED 2007, SONICATION 24/7 2009 und THIS SIDE UP 2013) veröffentlichte, sowie unzählige Shows im In und Ausland spielen konnte, welche als Highlight 2008 auch auf das WOA führten. Die Band trennte sich 2015.
2016 holten ihn die Jungs von ROADWOLF aus der musikalischen Frühpension zurück und boten ihm den Posten als Leadsänger an. Diesen füllt er seither aus und ist endlich dort, wo er immer hin wollte…in einer reinrassigen Heavy Metal Band!!

Heavy Metal is the law!
Shaped by KISS and Judas Priest as well as the lively music scene in his hometown in the early eighties, hiss desire to make music grew exceedingly early on. It should be the guitar and since the route via the recorder was out of the question for him, the “boy” got private lessons. He founded his first band when he was 8 or 9 years old with his two best school friends. He owned a Höfner concert guitar, the second one pair of drumsticks, the third was ambitious. Name of this promising band "Green Archer" ... they should have become comic artists.
After various Christmas concerts, armed with the “wooden one,” he played his first power-assisted gig at the age of thirteen in the school auditorium as the bassist of the school band. Little Richard's “Tutti Frutti” and the Bellamy Brothers mega hit “More of You” were delivered to the raging crowd by that young outfit.
He founded what was supposed to be his first heavy metal band at the age of sixteen. It was more punk. Until the mid-nineties he served in various local bands that never got out of demo status. This period ended with a break from being in a band for years as there were no suitable colleagues for him, who had meanwhile become a pure singer. At the beginning of the 2000s he founded "Pulling Weeds" which as a band should be based strongly on the emerging Scandinavian RnR wave around the Hellacopters & Backyard Babies.
In 2005 this band became SUCKCEED with whom he released three albums (SUCKCEED 2007, SONICATION 24/7 2009 and THIS SIDE UP 2013), as well as playing countless shows at home and abroad, which also led to the WOA as a highlight in 2008. The band split in 2015.
In 2016 the boys from ROADWOLF brought him back from early musical retirement and offered him the position of lead singer. He has been filling it up ever since and is finally where he always wanted to be ... in a thoroughbred heavy metal band!!

Peter Musch
Geboren und aufgewachsen in Wien. Gründungsmitglied der Band D.O.F., jüngste Thrash Band in Österreich, die als Support von Destruction im damaligen Fritz zwei Tage bei deren Aufnahmen zu Live Without Sense spielte. Dann Bands wie Dark Heaven, Die Corrupt usw. Gastmusiker bei Ronnie Urini, Sextiger usw. Sänger und Gitarrist bei Demolition bei den ersten zwei Alben. Danach das erste Album mit Deathtale aufgenommen und mittlerweile seit 10 Jahren bei Breaking Rank.
Born and raised in Vienna. Founding member of the band D.O.F., the youngest thrash band in Austria, who supported Destruction in a place then called Fritz, the later Rockhaus in Vienna, for two days when they recorded Live Without Sense. Then bands like Dark Heaven, Die Corrupt etc. Guest musician with Ronnie Urini, Sextiger etc. Singer and guitarist with Demolition on the first two albums. Then recorded the first album with Deathtale and has been with Breaking Rank for 10 years.

Mark Sattler
Eigentlich wollte er immer Gitarrist in einer Band sein. Die Heroes seiner Jugendjahre waren Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin und eigentlich alles, was mit viel Dezibel, Stromgitarren und Rock´n´Roll zu tun hatte. Zu Schulzeiten ist er zunächst als Bassist durch drei verschiedene Bands gezogen. Einige seiner Bandkollegen sind im Laufe der Zeit in andere Städte umgezogen und so wurden die Musikprojekte zunächst auf Eis gelegt. Ein langer musikalischer Winterschlaf folgte.
2011 traf er mit Wikinger „Beda“ Musch in Trausdorf zusammen. Der Rest ist Bandgeschichte. Seine musikalischen Ambitionen wurden reanimiert und seitdem ist er als Sänger und Gitarrist bei Breaking Rank.
Actually, he always wanted to be a guitarist in a band. The heroes of his youth were Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and actually everything that had to do with a lot of decibels, electric guitars and rock'n'roll. When he was at school, he started out as a bass player in three different bands. Some of his bandmates have moved to other cities over the years and so the music projects were initially put on hold. A long musical hibernation followed.
In 2011 he met Viking “Beda” Musch in Trausdorf. The rest is band history. His musical ambitions were reanimated, and he has been a singer and guitarist with Breaking Rank ever since.

The Internationals
Björn Gooßes
Nachdem der 1977 im niederrheinischen Wesel geborene Björn Gooßes sich seine ersten musikalischen Sporen in verschiedenen lokalen Bands verdiente, wurde er 1996 Sänger der deutschen Melodic-Death-Metal Pioniere NIGHT IN GALES, mit denen er bis 2011 insgesamt fünf Alben veröffentlichte und hunderte Konzerte sowie zahlreiche Tourneen und Festivals quer durch Europa sowie Japan spielte. Mittlerweile liegt sein Hauptaugenmerk auf THE VERY END, die bisher zwischen 2008 und 2021 vier Alben veröffentlichten und sich jenseits aller Schubladen im Spannungsfeld verschiedener Metal-Pole bewegen. Das aktuelle Werk "Zeitgeist" erschien im Mai 2021 über Apostasy Records und markiert den bisherigen Höhepunkt der Band zwischen massivem Thrash Metal, melodischem Death Metal und jeder Menge Freigeist-Metal mit Herz, Hirn & Durchschlagskraft. Ein Ausflug in die Welt des Rotzrock mit THE RULES Anfang der 2000er brachte zwar kein Album mit sich, aber die beiden EPs "Royal Ruhrpott Rock" sowie "Plung In & Freak Out" zeigten eindrucksvoll mit Dreck & Verve, dass Björn beileibe kein One-Trick-Pony aus dem Heavy-Metal-Universum ist. Mit dem seit 2016 aktiven Quartett HARKON zeigt Gooßes zudem eine weitere Facette: Die Debut-EP "Ruins Of Gold" frönt einer Mischung aus Melodic-Metal und Hard-Rock inklusive eines kleinen Schusses Prog. Die Arbeiten am Debutalbum wurden durch Corona ausgebremst, nichtsdestotrotz wird man voraussichtlich 2022 damit rechnen dürfen. Von seinen Stamm-Bands abgesehen war Björn immer offen für verschiedene Projekte und Gastsänger-Posten, z.B. bei Motorjesus, The Virus Projekt, Infliction, Undertow und nicht zuletzt den Metal’s Rockbar Allstars.
After Björn Gooßes, born in Wesel, Lower Rhine in 1977, earned his first musical spurs in various local bands, he became the singer of the German melodic death metal pioneers NIGHT IN GALES in 1996, with whom he released a total of five albums and hundreds of concerts until 2011 Played tours and festivals across Europe as well as Japan. Meanwhile, his focus is on THE VERY END, who so far released four albums between 2008 and 2021 and move beyond all categories in the field of tension between different metal poles. The current work "Zeitgeist" has been released in May 2021 via Apostasy Records and marks the high point of the band so far between massive Thrash Metal, melodic Death Metal, and lots of free spirit Metal with heart, brain, and penetrating power. An excursion into the world of snotty rock with THE RULES at the beginning of the 2000s did not bring an album, but the two EPs "Royal Ruhrpott Rock" and "Plung in & Freak Out" impressively showed with Dreck & Verve that Björn was by no means a one- Trick pony from the heavy metal universe. With the quartet HARKON, which has been active since 2016, Gooßes also shows another facet: The debut EP "Ruins of Gold" is a mixture of melodic metal and hard rock including a little bit of prog. Obviously, the Corona pandemic delayed the work on the debut album, nonetheless it is to be expected in 2022. Apart from his regular bands, Björn was always open to various projects and guest vocal positions, e.g., at Motorjesus, The Virus Projekt, Infliction, Undertow and, finally, the Metals Rockbar Allstars.
Brona Mika

In 1991, Brona formed the band Satisfvcktion, as a bass player. Since 1997 he has only worked as a singer. Auch die neu hinzugefügten Passagen wie der lange Instrumentalteil und weitere Solopassagen sollten schließlich stilistisch zum Gesamtkonzept passen und der Komposition des Originals Rechnung tragen.
Jaro hat alle Rhythmusgitarren sowie den Bass in seinem Studio aufgenommen und des Weiteren zeichnet er für den Mix und das Mastering des Tracks verantwortlich.

Jaro created the basic concept of the cover version, whereby he attached significant importance to maintaining the vibe and the harmonies of the original version as much as possible, not to distort the song and still transfer the arrangement into the metal genre in style. The newly added passages, such as the long instrumental part and further solo passages, should fit the overall concept stylistically and consider the composition of the original.

The Drummer
Lukas Kager
Lukas Kager aus Niederösterreich, aktuell Drummer der Metalband Ghidrah. Zu Anfang hat er seinem Vater beim Proben mit seiner Rockcoverband hinter dem Schlagwerk zugesehen. Bald hatte er selbst das Verlangen zu spielen und es fiel ihm von Beginn an leicht und verständlich die Grundrhythmen zu erlernen! In der Schulband war seine erste Erfahrung mit anderen Musikern Lieder nachzuspielen. In Späteren Jahren wurde die Band „Selling the Drama“ auf ihn aufmerksam, darauf folgten mit Arago und Death Mentality weitere Stationen, die ihm die Gelegenheit gaben, mehr musikalischen Erfahrungen sammeln zu können! Es folgten viele Konzerte in der Umgebung und nahe gelegenen Städten aber auch im Ausland gab es vereinzelt Shows zu sehen. Nachdem sich Band für Band auflöste, startete er den Versuch, eine andere Richtung einzuschlagen und sich im Genre des Funk zu etablieren. Dies erwies sich aber als eher kurzfristiges Intermezzo, denn seine Leidenschaft zu Metal war einfach größer! Auch als Session drummer war er gefragt und hatte die Möglichkeit, besondere Musiker kennen zu lernen. Als Drummer von Ghidrah war er schon auf Tour mit Dark Tranquillity, jetzt gerade produziert die Band ein Album. Er freut sich schon auf viele weitere live Gigs, denn auch nach 20 Jahren auf den Trommeln kann er nicht genug bekommen!
Lukas Kager from Lower Austria, currently the drummer of the metal band Ghidrah. At the beginning he watched his father rehearse with his rock band behind the drums. Soon he had the desire to play himself and it was easy and understandable for him to learn the basic rhythms from the beginning! In the school band, his first experience was playing songs with other musicians. In later years, the band Selling the Drama became aware of him, followed by other stations with Arago and Death Mentality, which gave him the opportunity to gain more musical experience! Countless concerts followed in the area and nearby cities, but there were also a few shows abroad. After band by band broke up, he tried to take a different direction and to establish himself in the genre of funk. But this turned out to be a short-term interlude, because his passion for metal was simply bigger! He was also in demand as a session drummer and had the opportunity to get to know special musicians. As the drummer of Ghidrah he was already on tour with Dark Tranquility, now the band is producing an album. He is already looking forward to as many live gigs as possible, because even after 20 years on the drums he cannot get enough!

Janos Murri
Janos Murri stammt aus Italien, sein Spitzname ist „Der nackte Gitarrist“. Janos begann mit sieben Jahren Gitarre zu spielen, nachdem ihn sein Cousin „Kill ´Em All“ anhören ließ. Die Liebe zum Gitarrenspiel war fast augenblicklich.
Janos spielte und nahm Alben mit vielen nationalen und internationalen Bands auf, darunter Resurrecturis, Darkside, Demolition und Sawthis. Er hat ziemlich viele Europa-Tourneen mit diesen Bands gemacht, die Acts wie Vader, Moonspell, Suspiria, Death Angel, Vital Remains und viele mehr unterstützen. Janos hat auch viele musikalische Kooperationen gemacht, darunter Gastauftritte auf mehreren Alben.
Im Moment konzentriert sich Janos darauf, sein ganz eigenes Projekt, Priority, hervorzubringen, dessen Debütalbum im Herbst dieses Jahres erscheinen soll.

Von da an blieb er dabei, tourte mit der Band um die ganze Welt, während er gleichzeitig seine Hand und sein Herz in die Waagschale legte, um mit anderen Cradle of Filth-Mitgliedern sowohl bei ′Hammer of the Witches′ als auch beim neuen ′Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness of… zusammenzuarbeiten. Beide Alben wurden von Journalisten und Fans hochgelobt und wurden schnell zu Meilensteinen. In den letzten 20 Jahren sammelte Ashok sowohl in Studiosessions als auch Live-Auftritten mit verschiedenen Bands (ua Root, Equirhodont, Inner Fear und Titanic) und anderen musikalischen Projekten viel Erfahrung, die es ihm ermöglichte, viele nützliche Fähigkeiten zu sammeln, die er jetzt mit uns teilen kann.

Thenceforward he stayed in, having toured all around the world with the band while simultaneously having put his hand and heart to the plough to cooperate with other Cradle of Filth members on both ′Hammer of the Witches′ and the new ′Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness of Decay′. Both albums were critically acclaimed by journalists and fans and quickly became milestones. Valentin Strasser
Valentin Strasser ist der Gitarrist und Hauptsongwriter der Band Roadwolf aus Österreich. Er spielt Gitarre seitdem er 15 Jahre alt ist und er Heavy Metal als seine persönliche Lieblingsmusik entdeckt hat. Seit dem Herbst 2012 ist er bei der Band Roadwolf. Seinen ersten Gig hat er im April 2013 gespielt. Viele weitere sollten folgen. Roadwolf hat zum Beispiel Vicious Rumors, Skull Fist, Enforcer, Ambush, Raven und viele weitere Acts supportet. Im Frühjahr 2014 hat die Band den österreichischen Wacken Metal Battle gewonnen und dann im Sommer auf dem WOA live gespielt. Der bis daher größte Gig für ihn. Danach hat er zusammen mit seinen Bandkollegen das Album "Unchain The Wolf" eingespielt, welches im November 2020 via Metalizer Records veröffentlicht worden ist. Momentan schreibt er an neuen Songs für das zweites Album von Roadwolf.
Valentin Strasser is the guitarist and main songwriter of the Austrian band Roadwolf. He has been playing guitar since he was 15 years old and discovered heavy metal as his personal favorite music. He has been with the band Roadwolf since autumn 2012. He played his first gig in April 2013. Many more were to follow. Roadwolf has for example supported Vicious Rumors, Skull Fist, Enforcer, Ambush, Raven, and many other acts. In spring 2014 the band won the Austrian Wacken Metal Battle and then played live at the WOA in the summer. The biggest gig for him so far. Then he and his bandmates recorded the album "Unchain the Wolf", which was released in November 2020 via Metalizer Records. He is currently writing new songs for Roadwolf's second album.
Walter Oberhofer
Walter Oberhofer geboren am 1.2.1967 in Wiener Neustadt, Österreich, ist ein österreichischer Gitarrist. Sein erster Kontakt mit Metal war 1982 das Album der britischen Metalpioniere Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast. Walter begann daraufhin am Jahr 1984 als Autodidakt Gitarre zu spielen. Schon 1985 trat er seiner ersten Metalband bei, Deceiver, die im Jahr 1986 ihr erstes Demo „Tales From A Forgotten World“ veröffentlichte.
Nachdem sich Deceiver Anfang 1987 auflösten, gründete Walter mit den verbliebenen Mitgliedern der Band Exzess seine erste eigene Band, nämlich Dark Shadow.
Nach einer kurzen Auszeit und intensivem Üben kam die Band unter dem neuen Namen Disgrace wieder zusammen. 1989 nahmen Disgrace dann ihr Demo „Cats Of Ulthar“ auf und nach vielen lokalen Gigs folgten im Jahr 1990 Support Gigs für Watchtower, Corona, Mekong Delta und einigen mehr. Beim nationalen Bandwettbewerb Metal Battle schaffte die Band den Sprung ins Finale und erreichte schließlich den 4. Platz. Ende 1990 löste sich die Band auf.
Walter gründete danach Epidemic, aber als auch diese Band auseinanderging, beschloss Walter, sich fortan auf Beruf und Familie zu konzentrieren und nahm eine längere Auszeit von der Musik, die bis auf Musizieren in den eigenen vier Wänden bis 2007 anhalten sollte.
Mit Midgard Upgraded folgten im Jahre 2007 die ersten Schritte zurück zur Musik.
2008 schließlich spielte Walter einige Shows mit der Band Darkside, unter anderem in Italien und am Summernights Festival in Mining am Inn.
Im Jahr 2014 beschloss Walter dann, endlich seinen musikalischen Traum zu verwirklichen, ein Album aufzunehmen und gründete gemeinsam mit Wolfgang Süssenbeck die Band Angry Nation. Das Line-Up für das Debutalbum „The Fail Decade“ vervollständigte Alessandro Vagnoni. Beim Zweitling „Embracing The Collapse“ stieß auch noch Jacopo Rossi zur Band.
2019 schließlich erfolgte auch das erfolgreiche Livedebut der Band am Metal Escalation Festival, unterstützt durch Jaroslav Lukac an der zweiten Gitarre.
Walter Oberhofer born on February 1st, 1967 in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, is an Austrian guitarist. His first contact with metal was the album by British metal pioneers Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast in 1982. Walter then began to play the guitar as an autodidact in 1984. As early as 1985 he joined his first metal band, Deceiver, which in 1986 released their first demo "Tales From A Forgotten World".
After Deceiver broke up at the beginning of 1987, Walter founded his first own band, Dark Shadow, with the remaining members of the band Excess.
After a short break and intensive practice, the band came together again under the new name Disgrace. In 1989 Disgrace recorded their demo "Cats Of Ulthar" and after many local gigs followed in 1990 support gigs for Watchtower, Corona, Mekong Delta and a few more. At the national band competition Metal Battle, the band made it to the finals and finally reached 4th place. At the end of 1990 the band broke up.
Walter then founded Epidemic, but when this band broke up too, Walter decided to concentrate on work and family from now on and took a longer break from music, which would last until 2007, apart from making music in his own four walls.
With Midgard Upraded in 2007 the first steps back to music followed.
In 2008 Walter finally played a few shows with the band Darkside, including Torino/ Italy and at the Summernights Festival in Mining am Inn.
In 2014 Walter decided to finally realize his musical dream of recording an album and founded the band Angry Nation together with Wolfgang Süssenbeck. Achraf Loudiy
Der aus Marokko stammende Achraf spielt Gitarre, seit er im Alter von 12 Jahren den Metal entdeckte. Er begann in lokalen Bands zu spielen, bis er nach Kanada zog, um AETERNAM zu gründen und seinen Traum zu verwirklichen, auf der großen Bühne zu spielen.
Die schiere Menge an Talent und Kreativität, die AETERNAM innewohnt, ist erfrischend und Metalheads überall wurden darauf aufmerksam, als das Debüt-Studioalbum der Band „Disciples of the Unseen“ 2010 auf Metal Blade Records auf die Welt entfesselt wurde. Seitdem hat das Quartett aus Quebec City sein Handwerk verfeinert, um es zu einer perfekten Mischung aus Brutalität und Harmonie zu machen der Weg für epische Soli, akustische Melodien, riesige Orchestrierungen und große Gesangsharmonien.
In den folgenden Jahren veröffentlichte die Band 3 weitere Alben, um ihre Präsenz als eines der aufstrebenden Talente in der Melodic Death Metal-Szene zu bestätigen. Originating from Morocco, Achraf has been playing guitar since he discovered Metal at the age of twelve. He started playing in local bands until he moved to Canada to form AETERNAM and to pursue his dream of playing on the big stage.
The sheer amount of talent and creativity inherent in AETERNAM is refreshing and metalheads everywhere took notice once the band’s debut studio album “Disciples of the Unseen” was unleashed upon the world in 2010 on Metal Blade Records. Since then, the Quebec City quartet kept fine-tuning its craft to make it into a perfect blend of brutality and harmony, combining classic death metal song writing with middle eastern influences where pure intensity, crushing riffs, pounding bass lines and brutal growls are paving the way for epic solos, acoustic melodies, huge orchestrations, and large vocal harmonies.
In the following years, the band released three more albums to confirm their presence as one of the rising talents in the Melodic Death Metal scene. In support of their releases, the band went on a streak of shows, working with The Flaming Arts and Continental Records booking agencies to play the famous 70 000 tons of Metal cruise twice (2018, 2020) and tour both Europe and North America alongside Orphaned Land, Tyr, Suffocation and Venom Inc.
Not only did Achraf supply a blistering guitar solo, but he also contributed various vocal parts to this project.

Milos Dodo Dolezal
Miloš "Dodo" Doležal (* 12. August 1966) ist ein tschechischer Gitarrist, Komponist, Sänger und Produzent, der seit 1991 eine Reihe von Soloalben veröffentlicht hat. Er wurde Ende der 1980er Jahre als Frontmann der Heavy-Metal-Band Vitacit bekannt. Er spielte auch mit der Band Pražský výběr und leitete die Supergroup Zemětřesení.
Zu seinen frühesten musikalischen Projekten zählen Stationen mit den Bands Kennel, Asparagus, Žádná Křeč und Pražský výběr. 1985 trat er der Band Vitacit als Leadgitarrist bei. Der damalige Bandleader war Sänger Ladislav Křížek (Kreyson, Citron), und die beiden schrieben eine Reihe von Hits zusammen. Als Křížek 1987 Vitacit verließ, wurde Doležal der neue Frontmann. Diese Zeit sah ihn auf dem Höhepunkt seines Ruhms. 1991 gab Doležal bekannt, dass er in die Vereinigten Staaten ziehen würde, um sein Musikstudium fortzusetzen und seine Gitarrenkenntnisse am Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles zu verbessern.
Während seines Studiums in Los Angeles sammelte Doležal Erfahrungen in Tonstudios und machte Bekanntschaft mit verschiedenen Musikern und Toningenieuren. Mit dem Gitarristen Guy Mann-Dude (The Dudes of Wrath) und dem Schlagzeuger David Eagle (OHM) kehrte er in die Tschechoslowakei zurück. Die beiden Musiker trugen zu seinem zweiten Soloalbum Dráždivý Dotek (Tantalizing Touch) bei, das in Ostrava aufgenommen wurde und die Hitsingle "Soudím" (I Judge) enthielt.
1992 gründete Doležal zusammen mit dem Arakain-Sänger Aleš Brichta, dem Törr-Bassisten Vlasta Henych und dem produktiven Schlagzeuger Štěpán Smetáček die Supergroup Zemětřesení (Erdbeben) und veröffentlichte 1993 ein selbstbetiteltes Album. Das Projekt veröffentlichte 2001 ein Live-Album in seiner ursprünglichen Besetzung.
1994 trafen sich Doležal mit Guy Mann-Dude im Studio Rudolfinum in Prag wieder, um ihr zweites gemeinsames Album aufzunehmen. Drum-Tracks wurden in Los Angeles vom bekannten Session-Drummer Gregg Bissonette separat aufgenommen. Das Album mit dem einfachen Titel Miloš Dodo Doležal/Guy Mann-Dude wurde im selben Jahr veröffentlicht.
Ende 1994 wurde bekannt, dass die Band Vitacit wieder zusammen ist, wieder mit Doležal an der Spitze. Sie nahmen im folgenden Jahr ein neues Album auf, Navostro (Sharply), und eröffneten für Iron Maiden während ihres Prager Konzerts im Oktober 1995, das Teil der X Factor der Band mit Blaze Bayley war. 1996 erschien ein weiteres Vitacit-Album mit dem Titel Zaživa mrtví (Dead Alive), das in Doležals Studio Hacienda in Žirovnice aufgenommen wurde. Im selben Jahr steuerte Vitacit ein Cover von Metallicas "Fight Fire with Fire" zum Tribute-Album 10 Years After...A Tribute to Cliff Burton bei. 1997 eröffnete die Gruppe für Alice Cooper in Tschechien, und im folgenden Jahr lösten sie sich wieder auf.
1997 nahm Doležal ein Album mit Jimi Hendrix-Covern mit dem Titel Dodo hraje Hendrixe (Dodo Plays Hendrix) auf. Das Album enthielt auch Barry Sparks am Bass und Shane Gaalaas am Schlagzeug. 2001 veröffentlichte er Outlaw (The Electro Acoustic Tribute to Bon Jovi). 2003 tourte Doležal mit den Bands Colp und Tortharry durch mehrere tschechische Clubs. 2005 veröffentlichte er sein zweites Instrumentalalbum mit dem Titel Nejvyšší vibrace (Höchste Schwingung), mit Hilfe einer Reihe von Weltklasse-Musikern, darunter die Bassisten John Patitucci und Doug Wimbish und Schlagzeuger Jonathan Mover.
2010 erschien Doležals nächstes Gesangsalbum mit dem Titel Despekt, das auch Beiträge des jüngeren Miloš enthielt. Das Album Gen Sumerian erschien 2012 und Dodo tourte mit der Band Storm Clear auf ihrer Slowakei-Tour. Sein nächstes Album, Ohněm (By Fire), wurde 2016 veröffentlicht und während der Souboj Rebelů Radegast Tour 2016 stark beworben, zu der auch die Bands Kern, Vitacit (mit Doležal als Gesang), Arakain und Citron mit Frontmann Ladislav Křížek.
2019 gab Doležal bekannt, dass das Zemětřesení-Projekt wiederbelebt und ein neues Album veröffentlicht wird. Die neue Bandbesetzung bestand aus dem älteren Doležal an der Gitarre, seinem Sohn Miloš Jr. am Bass, Mladen Djelmo am Gesang und dem ehemaligen Bandkollegen Štěpán Smetáček am Schlagzeug. Das Album Zemětřesení 2 erschien noch im selben Jahr.
Miloš "Dodo" Doležal (born August 12, 1966) is a Czech guitarist, composer, singer and producer who has released a number of solo albums since 1991. He became known as the front man of the heavy metal band Vitacit in the late 1980s. He also played with the band Pražský výběr and directed the supergroup Zemětřesení.
His earliest musical projects include stations with the bands Kennel, Asparagus, Žádná Křeč and Pražský výběr. In 1985 he joined the band Vitacit as lead guitarist. The band leader at the time was singer Ladislav Křížek (Kreyson, Citron), and the two wrote a number of hits together. When Křížek left Vitacit in 1987, Doležal became the new front man. That time saw him at the height of his fame. In 1991, Doležal announced that he was moving to the United States to continue his music studies and improve his guitar skills at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles.
During his studies in Los Angeles, Doležal gained experience in recording studios and made the acquaintance of various musicians and sound engineers. He returned to Czechoslovakia with guitarist Guy Mann-Dude (The Dudes of Wrath) and drummer David Eagle (OHM). The two musicians contributed to his second solo album Dráždivý Dotek (Tantalizing Touch), which was recorded in Ostrava and contained the hit single "Soudím" (I Judge).
In 1992 Doležal founded the supergroup Zemětřesení (Earthquake) together with the Arakain singer Aleš Brichta, the Törr bassist Vlasta Henych and the prolific drummer Štěpán Smetáček and released a self-titled album in 1993. The project released a live album in 2001 with its original line-up.
In 1994 Doležal met again with Guy Mann-Dude in the Studio Rudolfinum in Prague to record their second album together. Drum tracks were recorded separately in Los Angeles by the well-known session drummer Gregg Bissonette. The album, simply titled Miloš Dodo Doležal / Guy Mann-Dude, was released that same year.
At the end of 1994 it was announced that the band Vitacit is back together, again with Doležal at the helm. In 2010 Dolež was the next vocal album entitled Despekt, which also contained contributions from the younger Miloš. The album Gen Sumerian was released in 2012 and Dodo toured with the band Storm Clear on their Slovakia tour. His next album, Ohněm (By Fire), was released in 2016 and heavily promoted during the Souboj Rebelů Radegast Tour 2016, which also included the bands Kern, Vitacit (with Doležal as vocals), Arakain and Citron with frontman Ladislav Křížek.
In 2019 Doležal announced that the Zemětřesení project will be revived and a new album will be released. The new line-up consisted of older Doležal on guitar, his son Miloš Jr. on bass, Mladen Djelmo on vocals and former bandmate Štěpán Smetáček on drums. The album Zemětřesení 2 was released that same year.

The Malavita Antisocial Club, dessen wichtigster Songwriter und Arrangeur er ist.
Beside running his online mixing and mastering studio, Jaro is also a great guitar player, who has been working on a lot of projects in the past, for instance Darkside, Recode The Subliminal, Angry Nation (live) and of course Wolfheart feat. The Malavita Antisocial Club, whose main song writer composer and arranger he is.

Björn Gooßes
Killustrations ist eine einäugige Armee, angeführt vom deutschen Bildkünstler Björn Gooßes, dessen
Stimme auch auf „Dying Heroes“ zu hören ist.
Das Artwork für „Dying Heroes“ ist offensichtlich eine kleine Hommage an „Die Erschaffung Adams“ von
Michelangelo – Hier jedoch natürlich in den heavymetallischen Kontext gesetzt. Das Spiel mit dem
Gegensatz Hell/Gut und Dunkel/Böse wurde hier teilweise aufgebrochen, indem das Offensichtliche durch
weniger Offensichtliche ergänzt wurde und die betrachtende Person somit zur Frage führen könnte, ob
alles wirklich so ist wie es scheint.
Gooßes hat zahlreiche Artworks für Bands, Festivals, Autoren und NGOs aus der ganzen Welt gestaltet,
wurde in Kunstbüchern und-magazinen veröffentlicht und stellt regelmässig Drucke seiner Werke aus –
Unter anderem auch in der Metal´s Rockbar, wo er sich 2017 mit Joachim Luetke für die „Signa Aeterna –
Signa Infesta“ Ausstellung zusammentat.
Björn ist weiters mit seinen beiden Bands The Very End und Harkon aktiv.
Killustrations is a one-eyed army, led by the German visual artist Björn Gooßes, whose voice can also be
heard on "Dying Heroes".
The artwork for "Dying Heroes" is obviously a little homage to "The Creation of Adam" by Michelangelo -
here, of course, placed in the heavymetallic context. The game with the contrast between light / good and
dark / bad was partly broken up here by adding the obvious to the less obvious and thus leading the
observer to the question of whether everything is really as it seems.
Gooßes has designed numerous artworks for bands, festivals, authors and NGOs from all over the world,
has been published in art books and magazines and regularly exhibits prints of his works - including in
Metal's Rockbar, where he met Joachim Luetke in 2017 for the "Signa Aeterna - Signa Infesta" exhibition.
Björn is also active with his two bands The Very End and Harkon.
